Please attach 3-4 pictures of the subject. Please follow the requirements on the Reference Photo Guide on the Pet Portrait page. They MUST be clear quality (not pixelated) and full size (not cropped like is typically done with Instagram). Please include at least one close up detailed image of the face(s). In my confirmation email back to you, I will let you know if I need additional pictures. If you are having trouble sending the images because the file sizes are too large, etc. please send them via email to info@chelseaaynaart.com.

Will this portrait be for yourself, is it a gift, or for a special occasion (please include date of special occasion)?

Do I have your permission to post in-progress and/or final images of the portrait to social media and my website as it is being created and once it is finished, or do you need me to wait until a specific date/once it is delivered?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due before the commission is started and the remaining 50% + Framing & Shipping is due before the portrait is shipped. Please wait for payment instructions from me once the confirmation email is sent.

If you are not satisfied with the portrait, I will make every attempt to try to make corrections, but please note that scratchboard is an unforgiving medium and big changes are usually not feasible. If I cannot meet your expectations for the portrait, you will not be charged the remaining 50% and the portrait will remain with me for any future purpose. I do not issue refunds once the portrait is shipped and/or delivered. The reason for the non-refundable 50% is because scratchboard is a very precise medium that takes a lot of time to create with. On average, I can spend around 8-10 hours for small pieces and 40+ hours on larger pieces. Rest assured that I will do all the prep work to ensure we are on the same page about the portrait and I am confident that I can create a beautiful piece for you.

What if my portrait arrives damaged?
I take great care in the packaging of shipping the artwork, but accidents do happen and I cannot take responsibility for any damages that may occur during shipment or if the package is lost. In the shipping costs, I include added carrier insurance to cover the full cost of the portrait in case there was ever an accident. If there are any issues, I will help submit a claim through the carrier to get it all figured out. Timing to create a replacement or repairs would vary depending on the situation.
