Custom Pet Paintings

**Thank you for your interest in a custom pet painting! My commissions are currently closed as I make the transition from watercolor to scratchboard. I hope to reopen and offer commissions in scratchboard in late 2019. I will not be offering commissions in watercolor until further notice. Feel free to check back later in the year or contact me for interest in a commission. Thank you!**

How It Works

ACS_0013

I take pride in creating fun, vibrant, and expressive portraits that represent your pet’s personality. All paintings are delivered with care and a personal touch.

How It Works

1. Inquiry

First, you will need to fill out the “Custom Portrait Inquiry Form” so I can get an idea of what you want for your painting and what your pet is like. Along with the form, please attach 4-5 pictures that you like of your pet that I can use to go off of for the painting. I will narrow the pictures down to one final image to use, but will use the others as references. The pictures must be clear quality and not pixelated, and full size (not cropped like is typically done with Instagram). Please see FAQ’s for examples of good pictures to use.

2. Confirmation

Once I have reviewed your form, I will contact you back with confirmation that I have all of the information I need to start your painting or ask any additional questions. I will also let you know how long can be expected to complete the painting. If you do not hear back from me within 48 hours of submitting the inquiry form, please follow up by email or by messaging me on my art Facebook or Instagram account to ensure I received it. Please note that painting completion times can vary depending on how many I have lined up to do and if it needs to be shipped. With no waiting list, please expect at least 3-4 days to complete a painting.

3. Payment

I need payment for security purposes before I begin the painting. However, if you are not satisfied with the painting, I will refund 100% of the payment, and the painting will remain with me. I take payment via PayPal, personal check/money order by mail, or through the Venmo app.

4. Creation

After I receive payment and it is your turn in queue, your painting will begin to come to life!

5. Reveal

Drum roll. Once your painting is complete, I will email you a picture of it for your review!

6. Delivery

If you are based in San Diego we can determine a meeting place for me to deliver the painting to you or if you are outside of San Diego and need it to be shipped, I will send you the USPS tracking number once I send it off. Please note that I take great care in the packaging of shipping the paintings, but accidents do happen and I cannot take responsibility for any damages that may occur during shipment. In the price of the painting I also include a professional digital photograph copy of the painting which you will receive via email in case anything was to happen, or if you want copies, you are more than welcome to get some prints made.

As pets are a special part of families, custom pet paintings are the perfect gift to hold sentimental memories…

Reviews

When I saw that Chelsea was doing watercolor portraits of dogs, I knew she just had to throw her artistic flare on my Chicken. When I saw her style, I knew immediately which picture I wanted her to recreate for me. Chelsea worked quickly and had an impressive turn around time! She kept me updated throughout the creation and she had great insight to add for options of matting colors. She created an incredible piece that will last me a lifetime. Her work and service are top notch- from the planning and painting to the packaging with the personal and thoughtful touches on the final delivery.

Where do I begin with Chelsea’s work! She is so absolutely amazing and talented in her work. She places her heart and soul into what she does. Chelsea took a very personal and sentimental picture that meant the world to my sister and made a beautiful work of art from it. She let me know where she was every step of the way, sent me an update picture and asked if I wanted any changes before sending it, she truly did an absolutely stunning job. When the package was delivered she added a little personal touch to it. I highly recommend Chelsea to anyone who would love to bring a picture to life. She so genuine, talented and takes pride on her work.

After my boyfriends senior dog passed away I wanted a cool way for him to remember her. I didn’t have a great photo of her, but Chelsea happened to have a couple from years ago surprisingly. She was able to capture her likeness and personality perfectly and I was honestly brought to tears when I saw the painting. This was a perfect way to remember Zena as she was when she was young and full of life! Thank you Chelsea, we love it!
